Telephone numbers in the UK aren't anyone's property — they're a public resource. Ofcom (the UK communications regulator) allocates them to network operators in blocks, who then sub-allocate them to providers like everreach.
As long as you're an everreach customer, the number assigned to you is yours to use. Nobody else can use it, and we won't take it away except in unusual circumstances (for example, Ofcom withdrawing the number block).
You also have the right to take your number with you if you switch to another phone provider — this is called number portability. Start the process with your new provider; they'll handle the request with us.
If you cancel rather than switching, see what happens to your number when you cancel.
