Invite and manage team members
In this article group
You can invite other people to your everreach account so they can help manage calls, listen to voicemails, and configure call flows. There are two role levels — admin and standard user — and you can restrict standard users to specific virtual numbers.
Only admins can invite or manage team members.
What each role can do
- Admin — full access to everything: all virtual numbers, plus the Analytics, Blocked Numbers, Users, and Billing & Usage menus. Admins can also add or remove numbers. Most accounts have at least one admin (the person who signed up) and may add more if needed.
- Standard user — can use the Inbox, listen to voicemails, and manage call flows, audio, contacts, time rules, and per-number analytics and advanced settings for the virtual numbers they've been given access to. Standard users can't see the Analytics, Blocked Numbers, Users, or Billing & Usage menus, add or remove numbers, or invite other team members.
Invite a team member
- Log in at portal.everreach.co.uk
- Open Users from the menu
- Click Invite User
- In the Invite a Team Member dialog, enter their email address
- Tick Give admin access if they should be an admin. Leave it unticked for a standard user
- For standard users, click Select Virtual Numbers and pick at least one number they should have access to
- Click Send Invitation — they'll receive an invitation email with a link to set up their account
Manage pending invitations
If an invited person hasn't accepted their invitation yet, you can manage it from the User Invitations page — open Users and click Manage Invitations. Invitations expire after a set period. From there you can:
- Resend the invitation email if they didn't get the first one (available for invitations that haven't been used yet)
- Delete Invitation to remove it entirely if they're no longer joining
Change a team member's access
On the Users page, click the pencil icon on their row to open Edit User:
- Tick or untick Give admin access to make them an admin or a standard user.
- For standard users, click Select Virtual Numbers to add or remove the numbers they can access. Their current numbers are already selected, and they need at least one.
Click Update User to save. When you remove someone's admin access, they're signed out of everreach and need to log in again to continue as a standard user.
You can't remove your own admin access — ask another admin to do it. Your account also needs at least one admin, so you can't remove admin access from the only admin; make someone else an admin first.
You can also manage access per number: open Reception, pick the number (click the number's name at the top of the page to switch), go to the Users tab, tick or untick people, then click Save Access List. Admins always have access to every number.
Remove a team member
A team member's email address can't be changed — to use a different address, remove them and invite the new address instead. To remove someone, click the trash icon on their row on the Users page, then click Delete to confirm. Removing a user revokes their login immediately. You can't delete your own account from this page.
